Namaste is a very beautiful Hindu word that simply translated means, “I Acknowledge the Divine in You” or “In the Consciousness of Love we are One”.
In the Spirit of Namaste, I wrote the following to my wife to be. Although I solely wrote this for her, I though I would post this as an encouragement for anyone seeking a deeper connection with their parter. I can’t tell you how helpful it has been to re-read this over the past year. The ’silly little dramas’ (and the bigger ones too) have not been able to corrupt our connection, because we both do our part to remind each other of the love that we share together. I hope you too find value in these vows :-}

Although I use the words You and I, the Truth is …
“In the Consciousness of Love ~ We are One”
I Vow to Meditate Daily so that I May Always Give you Love and Receive your Love.
Regardless of the Busy-ness of our Lives, I Vow to Always Take the Time to Deeply Connect with you.
I Vow to Always be Completely Open and Honest with you, never Relating from a Place of Fear, but from Vulnerable Love.
I Choose to Love you Regardless of my Limitations, because my Commitment is to Evolve while Sharing this Togetherness.
I Vow to not Hold my Feelings Inside and to Always Speak to you From a Place of Loving and Humble Respect.
Misunderstandings are to be expected and I Promise to use them as Opportunities to Be more Open and Aware.
From a Place of Intimacy and Divine Romance I Choose to Shower you with the Love that Overflows from my Being.
From my Soul to Yours ~ We are but One Love …

Dearest Sensei,
I have known you almost three years and this is the most beautiful sharing from you I have experienced and you have shared so many with me and others.
Even though I do not have a significant other in my life at the present time, I am going to “tweak” the sharing just a little bit and have this kind of relationship with myself and all who are in my life at the present time and future friends and family.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and feelings with all of us. Sabrina is a very fortunate woman to have you and who you are in her life.
Much love to you,
Dana
