I love feeding my body super healthy foods – greens, organic whenever possible, high in anti-oxidants, essential fatty acids, ph balancing, etc.
Here’s my morning turbo-charged energy smoothie – it’s packed with everything I need until mid-day.
Here’s my morning turbo-charged energy smoothie – it’s packed with everything I need until mid-day.
-
1 cup of almond milk (almonds are amazing, they contain calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, copper, plus the antioxidants vitamin E and selenium) - 1 frozen banana (quick energy boost – just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout)
- 1 tablespoon of flax or udos oil (contains the essential fatty acids for beautiful skin)
- 5-10 berries (depends on size, i.e. 5 raspberries – try Acai berries or the juice, its high in antioxidants to combat premature aging)
- 1 level scoop of TRS SuperFood (I can’t even begin to list the reasons to take this, let’s suffice to say that it “feeds” your body unlike anything else)
- 1 heaping scoop of whey protein powder (whey supplements your body with essential amino acids and helps to repair and build muscle tissue)
Blend … and then spend your energy wisely – Tristan :-}

Looks awesome. Got it all, but wondered if you can pick the Almond milk up at HEB, Randalls, or do you need to go to Whole Foods? TIA
Not sure about HEB. The Randalls in Westlake has it sometimes. You can definately get it at Whole Foods, Central Market and Sun Harvest. Try Oat milk also :-}
