“I want to first make my full recovery and then test it [Brain Breathing] out on people who are also having psychosomatic pain in their muscles, tendons and nerves. Then we’ll see … perhaps this is a healing insight that can help many others who are in pain like I was”.
Well it’s been 4-weeks since I wrote the above statement. It came from the post about my painful back condition. If you recall I couldn’t walk for five days! Early one morning I discovered a mind-body healing technique that helped me to turn off the contractions and spasms in my back, but more importantly it stopped the maladapted signal at its source – my brain. Today the pain is totally gone and I haven’t had any problems since, other than the occasional fear-based thoughts that show up trying to tell me I have a bad back.
I consciously know that I don’t have a back problem, for Pete’s sake I helped my friend move her heavy furniture into a u-haul the other day without any trouble at all. For me the complete healing process is now all about totally letting go of the ‘idea’ that I have a weak back, but on a much deeper level. This healing takes place at the unconscious level of the mind – and the bottom line is I just have to keep clearing the fictitious mental conditioning. People don’t really understand what I mean when I say it was coming from my brain, but if they are ever in my shoes at least they will have someone to talk to about it :-}
To completely clear out the unconscious pressures and false beliefs, that were the true cause of my past back pain, I am reading Dr. Sarno’s books, remembering the true cause of psychosomatic conditions, reading my mind-body cue cards, exercising without fear, speaking more openly about the things that create pressure within myself, AND using the Brain Breathing technique (the healing technique I discovered) everyday. Several others are using the Brain Breathing technique, with favorable results. However, since it’s one of my most recent mind-body tools I realize that I’m going to have to put together some detailed instructions for people to get the same results that I got/get. (I do have a sample audio file for anyone wanting to try this technique.)
Because my healing journey has taught me so much I have started to put together a website that talks about mind-body healing – www.mindbodytoolbox.com. It’s in a developmental stage, but there’s already a lot of good stuff to read. Mostly I’m so very busy right now developing the Satori Method website, DVDs and local classes … but in time I will film the Mind-Body Magic curriculum, mentioned on the Mind-Body Toolbox website, and put it onto a DVD explaining all that I have learned about mind-body healing – to date :-}
Warmly,
Tristan
